I feel the cold bead of sweat on my face
Waiting for sunset to come like a bitter taste
Awake all night long my mind detained
Is it really worth taking these pills
The last ten years I’ve felt so drained
Turn me on
Turn me on
Turn me on from the darkness engulfing
And end this huffing a puffing
I close my eyes waiting for the sweat to turn
For the moon to leave me and to learn
That everything will be ok
That there is inevitable light at the start of the day
I’m looking for signs
Looking for signs
And looking for signs
Of what the sun rising can mean to me
Another night another dawn another day for me to see.
